VHT's Flameproof coatings will renew and extend the life of any surface exposed to high temperatures. This coating is a matte/flat finish, with a silicone base. Coating will withstand temperatures up to 2000°F Ideal for exhaust systems, headers and engine components. Flameproof coatings cure on the vehicle while in service.
To apply on vehicle - Ensure surface is clean and free of greases and oils. Paint must be air dried before putting on vehicle. Run at idle for 10 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes. Run at idle for 20 minutes, let cool for 20 minutes. Run at normal operating temperature for 30 minutes, let cool for 30minutes. Consult can label for specific curing procedures. DO NOT exceed temperature of the least heat tolerant component or base metal.
